Ghost Rider

Posted on

Yesterday we went to see the Marvel Comic Book movie Ghost Rider. We went in thinking it was going to be another cheesey comic book remake like Daredevil or The Hulk. We were pleasantly surprised by what we saw.

Nicolas Cage, with more hair, buffer bod (WOW what a bod) and shiney new teeth? pulled off the character of Johnny Blaze. The acting in the movie wasnt the greatest, the story was a bit slow in parts to introduce the storyline of the comic book, but when the Ghost Rider appeared, it was well worth the wait. It felt like a modern day western with a twist. Enjoyable movie, I would give it 2 1/2 stars out of 4. (Chris and my rating scale) I wouldnt say it is a MUST see, but if you are a comic book fan, it is worth the hour and 40 minutes.

About heylaydee

An average cook, an enthusiasm for experimenting and trying new things, is the reason for this blog. That and I found myself in the “empty nest” syndrome and needed an outlet. So I picked up the camera that was collecting dust, got out the pile of recipes, contacted friends and family for their favorites and starting cooking again. What could be better than a glass of wine, a hot stove, and creativity? Come along for the ride. I will be blogging about food, family, and anything else that inspires me.
